Library Card

To apply for a library card:

Anyone wishing to apply for a library card, please stop into the library with a photo id and proof of address, then fill out a short form.

It's free and easy. Under age 14, please have a parent or guardian sign the form.

Library Card (Registration) Policy

Any resident living in Winneshiek County or the state of Iowa may apply for a patron account at the Fort Atkinson Public Library.

Applicant must present a photo identification and proof of current address.

Children below age 14 must have parental signature to obtain patron account.

Fort Atkinson Public Library will issue patron accounts in compliance with Open

Access rules for statewide reciprocal borrowing.
